Why do sites like H&M dont show MRP
Recently we liked some shoes on H&M site. Was surprised to see they had no MRP. Why do these foreign companies not comply to laws of the land. If nike and adidas shoes have MRP, H&M shoes also ought to have MRP. Legal Metrology please do an audit of all international brands. Do your inspectors ever go the the mall or they are still in weights and measures era of 1970s? more

It is surprising the shoes did not have any MRP. A formal complaint could have been registered with the store manager itself. I am sure he would have sorted out the issue. if refused one can complain to LM. but remember LM usually doesn't benefit consumers. it shall get an excuse to harass the store, make some money and walk away. i doubt the department shall add any value to the customer. Instead you may contact H&M on social media,e-mail,etc. and raise your grievance. They are faster to response than any SARKAARI agency. more

Yes, MRP should be given. But, many firms fix a high MRP. Government should fix the MRP at a maximum certain percentage over and above the dealer price more

I doubly endorse Rana's post .The onus should be on the L.M . If they are under satffed , let them work from home with the computer , keeping their attention on the complaints that appear so often by so many . From these post they can take up the threads and initiate action or complain to the higher ups for solution . At least there will be some record of the complaint and the aberrations by the traders , that is irksome to the Consumer . THAT IS IF THEY WANT TO CONTRIBUTE TO "NATION BUILDING " , FIRST LEARN TO KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING IN AND AROUND THEM . START ON A PROCESS . The person posting should also give some proof by way of attachment , at least next time , so that the objective of reporting hear is fulfilled . more

MRPs are often inflated 2/3 times of actual prices of the products and then offer heavy discounts to lure and cheat the customers. more
