Why educated, under-graduate & graduate young not join the truck-tempo driver industry ?
Transport is a big industry in India which has proved to potential to provide hugh employment to people who are not more educated just only 10th or 12th pass.
I request to PM to promote the transportation industry & solve their following such problems which faced on road & field.
such as :
1. Make a such online facility that, a truck -tempo owner & driver can see, number of police checking chawkies available on route, which their details such as name of officer on duty, name of other staff duty & their mobile numbers & email ID.
2. The truck-tempo drive can submit online his vehicle document's scanned copy & get e-acknowledgement slip. This will avoid delay due checking at chowkies & nakas on STATE HIGHWAY.
The national highway has no such delay cause.
(The delay can avoided, if the list of STATE TOLL nakas provided online on website with their rate of toll to pay. Today there is not any system to calculate cost of total toll to pay on a route. The driver knows it on their last experience or trip, this causes to drivers to head their truck for a fix route, which is also a reason for shortage for having drivers as they head their truck on fix route driver. That’s why only some community is in this line. As they get route cause solution from their community member. This also causes to limitation for expansion of truck-tempo driver industry).
If a driver’s know field details & route expenses online, in any institute, then with young with sake of simplicity can definitely join the driving industry.
In our country there is not any central or state government owned “Truck-Tempo Driving School or Institute which can provide & educate driver candidates, along with safe driving, how calculate cost for transportation such fuel cost, toll naka fee, route details with details of rule & regulation of each state & country updated eventfully. If a youth candidates get “Certificate of Efficient Driver for driving all over country, then see a big change will happen. Transport agencies will rise not up to inter-state driving but also to inter-country driving.)
This type of facility will help to control un-authorized police checking chawkies, which are set-up by local officers with supported by local politicians for purpose of brief, entry & hafta.
This type of facility will help to control passing of vehicle without documents. The truck-tempo driver will update these document with required route, but, faulty truck-tempo without document & material loaded, will dare to use their truck for any illegal such activities.
Around Mumbai suburb there are lots of checking points generated by corrupt police in night time, from 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM which are operated for 365 days.
This online facility also show the track of record of Police check chawkies, such as number of vehicle passed, hold & kept in custody.
I think there are only few police check chawkies on record which follow their duties seriously. But much more illegal chawkies operated by corrupt police and local staff without headed by Senior officer such Inspector, and are running for the purpose of only ENTRY which start from Rs 50/- to more.
At every 25 to 50 Km on state highway, a driver is ask to show document, how can his get idea that inspecting police are on duty or not or are only for the purpose of money.
The police use their official uniform, official weapon & official vehicle to carry out such type activities without any fare.
In last year I have written such complaint letter to Honorable Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The action has been taken & stopped such 365 day permanent night nakas.
I think this may happen for temporary basis as it must depend up to next Chief Minister.
So the main problem arise to inter-state driving vehicle such are targeted specially by state police.
The honest driver is treated same as faulty driver.
A honest truck tempo driver has to pay for all official requirement & un official requirement such as entry/hafta, which cause increasing the transport cost.
The faulty driver’s are having relief as they only pay un-official requirement such as entry/haft to pass their truck-tempo.
Due to these type of harassment, the youth do not prefer to job of "Truck Driver", as he is insulted at every 25 to 100 Km distance by such un-official officer. Therefore this job is suppose to only un-educated or less educated people. If young fill safety & honor in this field, they will definitely join it . There is lot of requirement of drivers in this industries.
I thick, the road transportation field will fulfill requirement of jobs for graduate & under-graduate young people.
The educated driver's can head it much better, by forming group/associations such “National & International Association/Group of Truck-Drivers”. By which they can share their experience of route difficulties using their mobile & social media.
I request to Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shree Narendra Modiji to look in to matter & have such solution that this industry generate trust & driver’s feel pride of his duty & feel him-self as his supporting to building the nation. more
