Why India needs to be ultra cautious on covid 19

Look at USA below. India opens up movement, this is what we have to be prepared for.

April 17: 700,000 cases
April 10: 500,000 cases
April 4: 300,000 cases
Mar 27: 100,000 cases
Mar 19: 10,000 cases
Mar 11: 1,000 cases
Mar 2: 100 cases
Feb 2: 10 cases
Jan 21: 1 case more

We all must respect and follow lockdown period as per govt guidelines. When we talk about situations in India, govt must take very important steps with regards to providing food, essentials to survive atleast during lockdown. Daily wagers, labors, maids who primarily depend on salaries. Govt receiving crores of donations, why they are not spent on poor, needy? People are walking upto 2500 kms to reach their family due to no sufficient/proper support from govt. more
I think Central and State governments are running thousands of camps, with food, medical support. Also distributing food grains, etc.

Of course more can be done.

Government doesn't count on donations. Donations are only to make us feel that we too are contributing. Government has practically infinite food grains, which it is distributing free via PDS.

Let each of us do as our conscience and means permit. State and Central governments are generally doing their utmost. more
There is need for very careful analysis at overall level as well as local Districts or locality level before opening up. Even the opening up should be accompanied by compulsory mask, social distancing, disinfection tunnels, hand sanitisation, thermal checking of temperature, compulsory availability of Aarogya App on the person’s mobile etc. There is need for regular and constant monitoring at all level national, state, District, locality, officewise, factory wise, shop wise with help of computer based monitoring system. The analysis of data will help in proactively containing the spread of virus. more
Maybe Government is prepared for this surge. There are powerful voices demanding restoration of economic normalcy. Lack of work and income will also kill. So a balance has to be made and I think Government will open the economy in stages and watch how the population responds to the disease, after opening up. more
Yes, "exponentials" need not be taken lightly; this mathematical term is much more powerful than it shows itself on a graph !! more
