You can ask the restaurant to serve you without MSG. MSG is a family of products called as taste enhancers. Many natural products contain MSG through nature! It is classified as GRAS - Generally regarded as safe, bu USDA. MSG has undergone many, many extensive clinical tests but there is no evidence that it is unsafe. Some people complain of allergic reaction on consuming MSG. I always ask the restaurant to serve without MSG. more
Yes, this issue came up earlier, it's a harmful component, though it adds a value of taste of food. It was introduced by Japan. I experienced food stalls/Vendors usually takes the consent of customers in general whether to use or not? But Govt. is yet to notify it's ban. it's a serious matter, hence; it's better to take an appropriate action as early as possible. more
MSG is a slow poison. Consumption regularly result in untimely and shapeless growth, which our young generation are facing. This should be banned permanently. The result of shapeless and over weight affects ones mobility. Mover over, he/she becomes a patient of various ailments viz: fatty lever, gallbladder, blockage in lungs, kidney track burning, piles, constipation.
