Why is the Govt soft
There was a media report yesterday that the Govt has given a soft extension to ecommerce companies to comply to MRP display rule.
May I ask why is that being done after giving them six months, why additional month is required. And why is there no announcement by govt on this?

The fact that the Storage/godowns are spread Nation wide and these companies are taking the shelter that whatever they got has to be get sold so to avoid over burdened and this plea get accepted. Though to some extend it is also the fact - the Authorities give some leverage to the Companies. Factually there MUST be some time limit ascertained as dead line without any extension and exceptions. But the Grate BABUS differ with each other and makes some extension and exceptions, which again applicable to other as discrimination to be avoided. Hence the Circle & Cycle goes on. more

Government is soft on those who “contribute” regularly whereas We the People only contribute once every five years during elections. We have yet to prove our importance to those who take us for granted. more
