The real reason for NOT PROVIDING MRP ON CHINESE PRODUCTS is : 1) Most of them are illegally imported. 2) They are very cheap & traders / shop keepers are selling them at 200 to 300% profit margin. more

ALL GOODS IMPORTED AND SOLD IN THE MARKET SHOULD CARRY NAMES OF THE MFR. IMPORTER AND ALSO AN MRP. IF THESE ARE NOT THERE ON THE PRODUCT, THEY CAN BE EASILY BE DEEMED AS THRU THE " SECOND CHANNEL " which is SMUGGLED..!!.. (without paying customs duty..!!..). NOW, MY QUERRY IS "WHY DOES NOT GOVT. AUTHORITIES LIKE POLICE, ENFORCEMENT DIRECTORATE ETC VISIT THE MARKET AND "SEIZE" SUCH GOODS WHENEVER THEY SEE SUCH PRODUCT "..??.. IS THERE ANY LEGAL IMPEDIMENT FOR SUCH ACTION..??..
