This industry providing livelihood to millions of people also need relaxation stipulating strict compliance of covid protocols reducing the capacity to 30 to 50% of their normal capacity in a single sitting. Closing down of restaurants for indefinite period will only make millions of people unemployed losing the source of bread and butter for their families. more

Yes Agreed that we cannot keep out hotel business closed for a long time. But opening it only for those vaccinated and got their vaccine cards is the right way to encourage more vaccinations as well as protect the business establishment who will be able survive this Pandemic in a orderly way. First it should be made mandatory that all who work in the hotel business( Even small time traders ) should have vaccinated and daily covid protocal is followed in the premises and the entry regulations Vaccination hesitancy will slowly disappear if they know they cannot freely move without vaccines. This will help all affected business's as well, like malls and gyms and bars. Allow only vaccinated people to enter. Period. You will see a big difference. more

Makes no sense at all to keep restaurants closed! Livelihoods are at stake here. Besides, how can we be absolutely sure that a particular strain has totally disappeared and we can safely open up? New strains can crop up - does this mean restaurants should never open up??? We can choose not to eat out if we are unsure about the state of the pandemic. more

Economic activity has to resume. Frequent sanitizing, use of masks whilie entering the restaurant etc should be used to minimize the infedction. more
