Why should I suffer in an AC 1st class of someone else's dog and cat?

Indian Railways thanks to many humanitarians born here,
( some of us refuse to feed hungry people and have pets at home) have specified rules for cats and dogs- the option of keeping it with you, provided you are travelling in First Class or Air Conditioned First Class and that you book either the two- or four-berth area entirely.
Alternatively, dogs can be carried in the luggage/brake van in specially designed boxes. Unfortunately, with trains, even if you book the full berth, if someone in that compartment objects to the dog, your poor pooch will have to travel in the luggage van anyway.
In USA for instance, Amtrak does not allow pets at all (except for service dogs) and there are no other large train operators in the United States.

Why should a fellow passenger suffer another person's animal love carrying a pet that also in AC coach? AC compartment which is closed room in First AC can transmit any diseases the animal has.
Railways should insist on booking these cats and dogs or any animal in break van only. more

I have read all comments on the topic. Barring 5 or6 all have opposed travelling together of human passengers and pets. There is also not enough clarity about the rules of Railways. As the responsibility of the pet has to be taken by Railways, they must specify unambiguous rule - without any choice or interpretation to any official or passenger and strictly follow it. To my mind taking pets to crowded places like Bus Stand, Market places, Railway Stations, air ports etc. is undesirable and fraught with risk to public. With all love for animals and their welfare I am surprised to see how people can compare humans with pets/animals. If we have to consider convenience between human and animals I would vote for Human. RYK. more
It is not a question of transmitting diseases. Even at homes, pets are kept in separate areas (kennels). Railways should have a separate pets compartment, with provision of restrooms for them and an attender to take care of the pets. more
No pet should be allowed at all by Railways in any class more
Mr. Saroj Deb why should anyone be compelled to travel with animals if he/she does not like. apart from diseases what about the smell coming from pets. everybody does not like that smell. Railways should not allow animals in human coaches of any class. more
Like pet human also can transmit disease. People often ignore flue, cough & cold like contagious diseases while travelling in public transport. How about that? more
