WHY SIDHU NOT YET DISMISSED FROM PUNJAB CABINET ?

Sidhu, who is unfortunately a minister in Punjab government does not understand that a Prime Minister shaking hands with his counter part and visiting his house in Pakistan is a bold and laudable effort to promote understanding and good relations with a neighbouring country.

On the other hand, Sidhu hugging the Pakistan army chief will not promote peace or friendly relations with Pakistan. If he wants to promote cordial relationship, he should have hugged an ordinary citizen in Pakistan that may help in creating healthy people to people relationship but that will not get him publicity for this comedian politician.

Obviously, Sidhu did the entire exercise in a light hearted manner to get media publicity which he got in plenty from hungry media.

On the whole, this man has proven himself to be a cheap politician and low class comedian with least sensitiveness towards the army men sacrificing their lives to defend India’s territory and defeat the terrorists enjoying support from Pakistan army chief.

Sidhu has no reputation to lose and so he would not care about the angry outbursts from the country men.
I only wonder why Punjab Chief Minister has not dismissed him so far from his cabinet.

Hugging Army Chief indirectly becomes a request urging help and fit security to this People's preferred Government Rule. Let all be in this Positive spirit and goal . more

Sidhu's visit is no doubt intriguing . There were reports of Gavaskar and Kapil Dev were to be invited for the ceremony . May be Mr. Khan has chosen to invite his former compatriots from Cricket days. Kapil Dev and Imran along with Botham were considered First among Equals as All rounders . Yet Kapil and Imran were good Friends. I am not ste sure how they were not present . Sdhu has given his explanation for hugging the Army Chief as seen in the clipping from The Hindu. All the same any one who visits Pakistan in what ever capacity as even personal guest shouldn't forget the following for which Union of India has been demanding for 3 decades as first before solving Kashmir issue: 1. Respect Ceasefire regulations and restore before talks on Kashmir issue. 2. The support to Terrorist in Pakistan and push them over across LOC. U.S and other nations wanted that to be tri or multilaterally solved , but stood firm all these decades and said the issue is between the 2 naigbours. Good stand that is being followed by Modiji's Government also; unlike doing just the opposite . So all the parties are patriotic when it comes to any external affair . We shouldn't make an issue of it and laud Imran's new idea to start the Indo -Pak series in Cricket. There are are several in both sides who want amicable settlement so that we stay as Brothers and sisters disallowing religion to interfere. more
Any pvt visit cannot be objected to but they must toe the governments line of foreign policy. Sensitive issue like Pakistan’s relationship needs more careful handling, which mr Siddhu has ignored .He cannot start a trAck two negotiation since governments approval is needed. The congress always tries to gain by doing exactly the opposite of what the present GOI does.Their party members always issue statements which is a slap in the face of patriots whose families have lost their kin . The citizens are aware of the duplicity of party hungry to return back to power at any cost .Time will prove . more
