Our Laws are very very Lax and so are Punishments. Capital Punishment must be increased, because so many people/communities understand that language only. I think that time has come for stringent and timely punishment. Otherwise we will be doomed. Why should their be so many vacancies in the various Courts? This shows lithargey on Govt part. more

Its certainly sabotage and not negligence or dereliction of duties any Pilot/Co-Pilot. I remember sometime back that Railways had developed some technology whereby any obstacle/disruption on track, the train will automatically halt. If such technology does not exist, it needs to be developed. Because such anti-national elements are on the spree of sabotage. more

While we are discussing and criticising the government for increased number of rail accidents in recent days, we should not forget the menace of sabotage suddenly became one of the major reasons of the accidents of recent past. Till a couple of years back the cases of sabotage in rail accidents were being rarely heard. In the same way the menace of stone pelting at trains is a recent addition to rail safety. more

Human created machines. There should not be total dependence on automated machines. Unlike many other countries, we still have manned driver in railways. There are one Pilot & one Co-Pilot. If both remain busy in watching Facebook & WhatsApp and ignores the train movements, these are bound to happen today, tomorrow & in all future days. Railways have already wireless communication system and there should be compulsory submissions of personal mobile to office, at the start of duty and take back at the end of duty. In various security departments there is strict 'No-No' for personal mobile. Same should be introduced in all work places. more
