WHY SO MANY WELL KNOWN PEOPLE IN DIFFERENT FIELDS JOIN BJP ?

The anti Modi campaign is now becoming vicious and full of feelings of hate against him. With hate campaigners becoming determined and getting media publicity, there is anxiety now developing in the country amongst the cross section of people that Modi could become the victim of the campaign and those involved in the hate propaganda may succeed in de throwing him.

In such circumstances, many people are coming to the view that Modi has to be supported so that his stewardship of the country would forge ahead. Such people think that country cannot afford to lose the leadership of Modi at the present critical juncture.

Those who have stood away from politics so far want to enter the fray and defend Modi to the best of their ability. This is perhaps the reason why so many people are joining BJP.

The hate campaigners say that BJP is enticing people to join the party by making various offers. This cannot be true as most of the people who join BJP are unlikely to be attracted by enticement, since they have already some sort of stature and reputation. The immediate example is the metro man

The government is taking some tough decisions in the interest of long-term, which may have not-so-favorable short-term implications for some people. Also, the execution at times is not perfect and could have been planned better, eg. DEMO, farm laws. All this gives a chance to the anti-govt brigade (opposition, 'intellectuals', leftists, media, etc.) to make so much 'noise', that many youth start believing the govt is biased towards a few, at the cost of other groups or strata of society. Their job becomes easier because it is human tendency to be scared of change and oppose it. To counter this, government should think through each major action before implementing - by consulting all affected to gain consensus, and taking action to remove doubts from people's mind on their intentions. This will smoothen the implementation and remove doubts from the minds of people, when naysayers try to aggravate the situation. more
I fully support the views expressed by Mr. N.S. Venkataraman in his post. Most of the people raising voice against the P.M. (Mr.Modi) have their vested interest to do so and not for the good of the masses or the country or for the democracy. Some of them have failed leftist ideology where in political power is gained through violence or by fishing in trouble waters. more
I am a supporter of neither BJP nor any other political parties. For me all are same because all the current politicians have been working in vested interests in one way or other, and not in the interest of country and the common citizens even by 10 percent what Lal Bahadur Shastri demonstrated in a short time. All these people are using the public domain for their publicity and some people may have thought that they need to support Narendra Modi. All these negative publicity is home created for getting favour and support. The fact is Good Work will always be appreciated and supported. The worst thing what current government is trapped with its promotion of capitalism, non-optimisation of expenses of government itself, non-utilisation of available resources in sensible manner for the sake of country and the citizens. This country had the first Prime Minister who was also considered that without him the country will not survive. There are many people in our country who could prove better than Narendra Modi but they would not like to enter the bad politics in the country. I have met many political leaders who have been saying that if citizens achieve self-sustainability they would lose importance in the eyes of people. Such leaders are there with all political parties. Good leadership would have eliminated such people from the politics. Our country is continuing with the VOTE BANK politics and none of the existing politicians has courage to change this trend. Our Nation was supposed to have non-political party democratic system but unfortunately the trend was setup by the first PM and being promoted by the current PM, as well. I wish if the sensible citizens take a step forward for the sake of country and its poor citizens for a change in the political situation. more

I agree with Sh. Venkatraman and would like to extend my wholehearted support to Sh Modi. We are lucky to have him as our PM. He has a vision to make India not only self reliant but an international economic super power. For the first time post independence we feel proud to be an Indian. more
