Why Start up India may not work
Attached are the results of how many start ups were approved by the inter ministerial board to be qualified as "start ups" and avail benefits. 1 in a list of 30 and that too partially.

It is really disheartening to know from the table that only one case out of so may cases got approval and other cases deferred or rejects. This lead to low courage and enthusiasm in stat ups. more

Not all startups will qualify for the benefit. The Government of India has laid out rules for the same. One has to follow that. Otherwise all Tom Dick and Harry will start claiming benefits in the name of start ups and you can see number of start ups mushrooming to avail only tax benefits. When India scarps the Mauritius deal, it should also show some strictness in considering their own industries. more

Reg Start ups ; I would like to know from the Cos/ persons who had applied for. Pl let us know the facts you have experienced and the status, when did you apply, whether you had applied through any agent, consultant or directly yourself and s on. 1. Its every ones request that those who have experienced the reality pl explain. And if your friends / relatives experienced pl do not pass on third hand info to this circle. 2. Those whoever heard from others or read something in the news etc., pl do not pass on such info into this circle. Such info will not help anybody in this circle. 3. I think and hope that in this circle we are here to understand better things in full, take the help of this circle for ourselves or to help others. Difficulties, hiccups will be there but when we look for opportunities in such situations we will find better ways. Start Up India is a good concept but its not possible to make it happen by few people so, everyone should understand the concept correctly and then go for application would greatly help us to take the benefits in a proper channel. This is my opinion and request. more

Mr. Subhash Parakh, you must be aware that ALL GOVTS IN THE NAME OF INDUSTRIES, RURAL DEVELOPMENTS GENERATING EMPLOYMENT HAVE BEEN DISTRIBUTING FREELY MANY BENEFITS LIKE TAX HOLIDAYS FOR FIVE YEARS, ALL INFRASTRUCTURE S LIKE WATER, ROADS, ELECTRICITY TO BE MADE AVAILABLE ON PRIORITY, NO ENTRY TAX , SO WHAT DO YOU CALL ALL THAT? DD IS AND WAS ALWAYS THERE AND STILL PEOPLE LIKE MALYAS, SAHARAS, SOME SOFT WARE COMPANY,COAL GATE ,HAVE AND HUNDREDS HAVE BEEN THE BENEFICIARIES NOT TO DAY BUT IN ALL THESE YEARS, WE SHOULD NT FORGET THAT. IT IS EASY TO TALK IDEOLOGY AND WE CAN BE STRICT FOR OTHERS BUT WHEN OUR TURN COMES WE WANT VERY LIBERAL APPROACH. Mr. Jyoti Dua, yes it may not be easy yt if govt want really in true sense such progress, than Govt has to make it more simplified rather than making more difficult. particularly the language of the MEGNA CARTA DOCUMENT MUST BE IN SIMPLE ENGLISH NOT WHAT HAVE BEEN TAUGHT BY BRITISH ENGLISH.
