It is a major problem for all the passengers who are travelling and have their booking in sleeper class either in day time and some times in night also the local people on board the sleeper coaches and sits any where sometimes even without asking,i dont know at that time where are all the ticket checker or the protection force to stop these people.if the passengers has paid for the general quota why he should travel in the sleeper coaches,they cannot on-board on ac coaches why because there is a someone to take care of,what about the sleeper coaches.
secondly Is Indian railway is so poor that it cannot provide a mug in the washroom in the sleeper coaches,people traveling in the sleeper coaches only know the problem they are facing when is the government is taking initiative for that. more

even the department will add 10 coaches people will still travel instead railway has to take initiative by regular checking and imposing fine. more

GRP and RPF are sleeping and not doing their duty. Failure of governence. Better close this department. In last 6 visits I could see only once 3 police. Every train has to add 2 general coaches. more

It is matter of discipline which is not being enforced by Railways, which is why all such kind of activities of occupying reserved coaches happens. It can't enforce discipline to its own employees, we are expecting it to enforce discipline to outsiders. You see between BCT and Valsad, people (Season Ticket holders or general ticket holders) occupy the reserved coaches and it is a regular scene. Moreover, it is a rule that Season Ticket holders from Churchgate upto Virar can't board a long route passenger or express train going beyond Virar. But as a matter of routine you will see these trains over crowded by passengers travelling not only upto Virar but even Borivali such is the state of affairs. It is a common scene to see Flying Ranee, passengers boarded at BCT or ADH alighting from the train at Borivali though it is a long distance SF exp. train and nobody cares. Not even that no Season Ticket is allowed in Bandra Jaselmer exp. which starts from BDTS at 1435 on Friday and its first coach which is a small seating capacity coach is completely occupied by Season Ticket holders and is even locked from inside by them and TTE does not even dare go to that coach. Can you imagine a train Lokshakti Express was and is overcrowded by Season Ticket Holders and General class ticket holders has been converted into superfast for just this reason so that they can in the guise of SF exp. fine the public. But when normal rules of no entry in Reserved coaches by Season Ticket holders is not being controlled, the public is being penalised by converting into SF exp and just paying more for no facility of SF as the overall stoppages and time remains same. So for the inefficiency of Railways to control the menace it is penalizing the public. Is this fair, should those doing all this not be punished and acted upon in Railways? more
