Yes, as suggested by Mr Uday, mechanisation will help expedite the cleaning programme. The authorities should think about using self propelled dredgers and barges , instead of going for traditional silt removal. They should dispense with old SSR frmulae. more

Points given by Uday Silwal are very good. Where as Varanasi citizens voted for Improvement of Cleanliness and Civic sense-75% for Clean Ganga-0%.Our PM is very much interested for Clean Ganga. As being members of Local Circles should support the wishes of Modiji. Action Plan is required to takeup the above work.
