Windows 10 Pro ,32/64 bits DVD pack from e bay

I have ordered Windows 10 Pro ,32/64 bits DVD pack from ebay on 12 Jan .Paid Rs.3999/- after 10-15 days I got a courier and when I called my Desktop system operator to install it, he said that there is one activation key provided but a combination of 6 different activation keys. When I approached to e bay customer care many times, then they gave me sellers contact and straight way shirked their responsibility of providing a genuine Windows 10 Pro ,32/64 bits DVD pack. I requested the seller to mail me the detailed process to install the DVD pack he advised me to call him after 7.00 pm and he will guide my Desktop system operator how to install and refused to mail me the process for installing the DVD pack.How van I call my Desktop system operator after 7.00 pm. ? Please take a note and aware of such fake products. more

Since the product has been supplied by e-bay and total liabilities lies on E-bay provided it is not market place of E-commerce. Pl check its existence whether the payment has been credited to e-bay accunt or directly to third party service provider. Send a registered letter to E-bay local address and then file complaint in consumer forum. more

eBay is very bad. I stopped buying from them 2 years back after I was sent an old item. I am much better off after making my online purchases from Amazon and Flipkart. Boycott and spreading the word is the best weapon for consumers. I can give 2 instances where eBay shirked their obligations. more

Dishonest service providers coupled with the absence of effective laws and enforcement mechanism it is difficult to deal with frauds. Better to depend on brick and mortar stores. more

Sometimes returning also may not help. I too had a bad experience with ebay. I ordered a battery for my old Nokia phone. Against the order I received a Bluetooth head phone. As per the instruction of the seller I returned the wrong item to the seller by speed post. In spite of repeated mails to the seller through ebay, I am still to receive the refund. Recently when I tried to contact the seller through email, the message from the ebay site was time allowed to contact the seller has expired and hence the mail cannot be sent. more
