WOMEN NOT RESPECTED BY THEIR OWN PARENTS & BROS; HOW CAN RAPE STOP?
The center of gravity of Rape is non-respect of women at their own home? Why the property division is not done equally among all children of the family? The parents prerogative to write a WILL to give their property to their Son after their death must be abolished. It should be mandatory for kids to pay 5% or 10% of their earnings to their parents, whenever they demand till they are alive. Good system can be brought in to, to reduce the crime to near zero. Why can't word "RAPE" be written on the forehead of the rapist only after DNA report establishes the rape. The Rape must be reported within 24 hours on a toll free number, without requiring to go to Police Station for a FIR. There should be independent agency to establish rape run by monks/retired foreigners, so that no favor is done to anyone. There is way, where there is will. I feel, India lacks that WILL, as we all are culprits. more

Pornography has nothing to do with the rape? I know people will debate with many logical points. Reality: generation has become an addict of porn. TV channels, FM Radio Stations, Advertising, and Internet all are flooded with every possible angle of porn. How could you expect porn all around not impacting the social psycho? more

dear Arun I totally agree with you on this. Prevention of Rape is only possible through strengthening the minds and that will come only through education and with the influence of close relatives , good friends and teachers. In Most of the cases it is found that rapist didn't mind taking the RISK . stake - his reputation in the society money involved his termination from employment work sufferance his relationship with others his friendship His Ego What he gets in return Momentary pleasure ? Physical /mental satisfaction ? An achievement to feel proud of ? or caning / public abusing punishment We have to bring them to the level and make them realize that the PLEASURE THEY EXPECT TO GET OUT OF IT IS NOT WORTH TAKING RISK. and this can only be possible if punishment is raised in proportion to the seriousness of the crime more

Dr Kulraj, Pronography has nothing to do with the rape? I disagree with your comments. It is the dis-respect for women, as they are not respected by their own parents, and brothers specially. For Women's disrespect; Women(Mothers; Mother In Laws) are solely responsible. Supreme Court has passed the Bill for equal rights to siblings; but it's not being implemented. There have to be strict laws to govern that. The Day, a Girl is married, she should become equal partner in Husband's property as well, besides her own. The Boy too must be made eligible likewise. I have seen, so called educated parents sell their property, and give cash money to their Sons, and nothing to their daughters? How can we control that? Rape can't be controlled, till we get a solution to the root cause? more
