Working of Government Departments
I was of view that after change in government, the working style of government departments, its officers and staff will change. Nothing seems to be better at ground level. All departments wait for something to happen and then they will come out on TV and say something and do anything else.
Is not it duty of FDA to check regularly manufacturing of eatables items right when they are produced. By experience of government lethargic way of functioning, I am sure this issue of Maggi will soon die out in few days. Maggi will be back in shops for sale. We start eating it once again.
If it is harmful for health, then why not take legal action against the chief of the company. Simply banning it is not the perfect option. He must be punished heavily so that other producers of eatables know for sure that now government really works.
Our thinking is really very unpredictable. The big shots who promoted Maggi are targeted for case. Ok, go ahead. What FDA was doing then? Why haven't FDA checked its quality? Don't we feel that officers of FDA equally criminal and booked under law. And recently, there are children and housewife doing 2 min Maggi. Why not these actors also face similar charges as other big shots are made to be?
We lack of keen interest in going well down to original point from where the wrongs got cleared and punish all those who are involved. Instead beating around the bush is our idea and action. Nothing get harmed but poor do suffers. more

Dear friends, the best way is to avoid taking all these stuffs. Think about the time when these things were not available and the people were much more healthier. SO JUST AVOID EATING COLAS, JUICES, READYMADE FOOD ITEMS AND ENERGY DRINKS. more

Things won't change because of one Man. It will happen only by joint efforts. Once upon a time, not that long ago; colas were found to have pesticides and the root cause of intestine problems and teeth decay. But today they are back to doing roaring business. Let FDA do their job. The implementation has to be stringent. But let's face it, people need to quit these things first. more

I may be off the track here but serious thinking has to be there. Yesterday, I saw movie 'Dil Dharakane Do'. It is not a political drama like so many Nayak, Satyagrah, Gangajal etc. The director has tried to point out basic problem that we human face. We fear to accept the truth as it is. We try to cover up with false smile, control anger, emotion. Are we happy? No, not at all. And never we will be. We have to rise to the situation, face it and take a bold step. The public took a bold step one year back. But new government never rose to the situation. With so many scams counted before election, not a single one has reached its destination. With the historic mandate in the history of Independent India, BJP is supposed to prove its determination to root out corruption. Instead, BJP got into making adjustment with corrupt politicians. BJP has forgot that another party also got huge mandate from the public and let that party rule the state. Instead, the party is bent upon creating hurdles so that corrupt politicians and businessman can be saved. This action is going to break heart of public. If they can throw UPA government, they can do the same for NDA also. Like the movie ends with accepting the truth of life and sinks false ego and prestige, BJP must come up and really work for public and catch all corrupt politicians and businessman. Take action against culprits and take support from those who are fighting against corruption. Until we fight against corruption jointly, we can not make our India great. That's the truth let us face it, accept it and fight the corruption. more
