Scores of lacs of actual NPAs estimated, to be revealed from time to time and govt banks to be gradually bailed out from PUBLIC MONEY who paid direct and indirect taxes and suffering this Demonetization drive to fill the damage caused by the Bank babus by pro quo lending and NPAs. Mallya being the mask under which all the lakhs of crores of NPAs hidden. His is only 9 thousand crores and his assets much more than that worth from which can be covered. Mallya game a part of this NPA Scam. BANKS ARE NOW CASH STRAPPED & NEED CASH, HENCE THESE TYPE TACTICS AS DFEMONETIZATION. "Poora hisab do" drive.. They lack motivation to improve quality of their products is losing their chances to be "marketable" in the international markets. The Chinese do exactly that. They "concentrate on quality". Folks, you may not have registered, but in most areas, the Indian markets are full of products "made in PRC". Look around with an open eye. The products beckon you to buy them, and you just cannot resist. The Chinese have learned how to don the bride in order to get her married viz she should look pretty to the eyes of the beholder..... And let this also be known that the Indian markets are selling every year products made in the PRC worth 6.5 billion us dollars (it's equivalent to several lakhs of crores of Indian rupees). Keep your eyes open, folks! Fact also is that the sellers in India recommend you to buy those products. And, if even this does not erupt a tsunami of self-pride in the Indian producer, no prime minister of this India can hold his head high in front of those whom he's been trying to make India interesting as an investment zone. Hope that Mr Naveen's queries have been answered! We Indians need to look within ourselves......The one advantage that the Chinese have over us their "discipline" and "pride for their country". How about us starting to inculcate that in us? more  

Whereas I do not wish to support existing Indian system. it is respectfully submitted that the findings of World Bank are totally incorrect and supplied by corrupt Indian professionals to fool foreigners and extract speed money. The so called survey is full of errors and basically Indian professionals have deliberately let India down for their narrow monetary gains. When Indians will see beyond their own narrow interests. Are cyrus Mistry every where. more  

Just mere lamenting will not help. If officials ask for chai pani by producing, in your eyes, a bogus objection to your activities, you have today the possibility and the right of taking down their bona fides and reporting to their office against them. That is, if YOU ARE SURE that you're actually not breaking any rules! Let me illustrate what I mean through this example: An inspector for fighting dengue-spread visited a friend's garden and complained about water in the flower pots which incidentally were being watered by the Mali at the time of the inspector's visit. Only the lady was at home and the inspector, expert as they are, let out unobtrusive threats of reporting; but that this threat could be avoided if the lady was forthcoming, meaning, he wanted some chaipani money. The lady of the house was educated and she refused to comply to the inspector's wish. True to the threat that he left behind, the inspector filed a complaint in court. On the date of hearing, the lady sent her lawyer to represent her, and equipped the lawyer with pictures of roads in the neighbourhood where water was logging stagnant after the rains. Naturally on the day of the inspector's visit and a few days thereafter. The judge's verdict: Get rid of such inspectors who waste time of so many parties and especially of the court for such petty and useless complaints..... The inspector never showed his face again and it's now been six years since! The message is loud and clear, I hope! more
