Worried about air pollution already

Dont know but for some reason I feel the NGT is more bothered about air pollution then the administration of Delhi and NCR areas. Getting a feeling we will soon hit 700 PM 2.5 soon based on the rise in last week or so.

A last month analysis of 150 patients at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH), New Delhi, found that close to 50% of patients with lung cancer--the type of cancer responsible for the highest number of cancer deaths nationwide--had never smoked, and yet had developed the pulmonary disease.

See attached images of Delhi lungs of non smokers. Most in the age group of 30-60. Very very concerning Mr. Kejriwal. Tell your teams to stop giving ads for useless things in news paper and instead start acting on this critical matter. more

Kejriwal believes, it is Modi who has been polluting Dilli ki Hawa and LG does't allow him smoke out pollution !! So talk to Modi, don't disturb Kejriwal !! more
Causes are known; what's needed is "corrective/preventive action"...... more
We know how much government or its officials are dedicated to work. Public needs to be vigilant and take possible action against sources generating pollution. Though vehicular emissions contribute to air pollution but much more is for reasons like burning of crop remains, wood & charcoal in houses and on streets particularly by vendors, fabric dying in markets (polluting water as well), smoking in open areas. In addition let us plant trees even small plants wherever we can. more
I am also affected due to passive smoking but a very little as of now. I believe that both Central and State Government should take initiative to stop growing of tobacco, ask the farmers to switch over to some other healthy crops and to stop giving permissions to companies to produce tobacco products in the entire country. It can be 50% first year, 80% second year and finally 100% stoppage of tobacco growing. Simultaneously, punitive action for non adherence year-wise. Similarly, even companies be warned accordingly. Governments doing lip service and publicising the affects of health problems due to smoking as well as passive smoking is not acceptable and justiciable. Governments should take an appropriate action immediately. All of us soon raise this to the national level. more
govt should make thick green belt around delhi ncr . give more push for electric car buses, all factories which are have emission of toxic gases must have electronic pollution control devices, with cyclone seperators , and gas absorbing system more
