Wrong Doing of Video OTT platforms

OTT platforms are new goons and charging consumers with misled information. VOOT is a video streaming app and running a free trial offer. The offer listed on app concealed the information that this offer is for selective payment modes only. Condition was to subscribe with a payment transaction and if a user doesn't with the continue may opt out this plan within14 days. with 2 days of my subscription, my user experience was bad and I intended to unsubscribe. Surprisingly, there was no option given in the app. On addressing this to their service desk it was informed that this free trials was not for UPI payments as I had transacted through UPI mode my pack can neither be cancelled nor my money can be refunded. This is utter nonsense, misrepresentation and way of cheating the end consumer. Please advise what next could be done to take actions against this OTT place and stop these wrong doings? more

It's sad. Wr should unite to fight this menace more
I am sorry to write like this. There are many websites which streamline these things freely. The best one is movierulz.com. It is not a pirated one. It just connects to the systems which got the required video. We call it peers. That's all. Of course, these fellows also show pirated versions of newly released movies, which is very bad. But as for as the others things are concerned this is the best one to teach these goons more
You gambled for a free service and paying the price. Do not tell me you did not read the terms and conditions before signing up. Please stop complaining about such trivial things in the local circles. And that too posting anonymously. In that mode anyone can post any nonsense and waste other people's time. more
