ED confirms seizure of Rs 5551.27 crore against Xiaomi Technology India Private Limited under the provisions of FEMA.
This is ridiculous. Hire a bunch of greedy people locally and then use them for manipulating. This is what chinese companies do. Biggest manipulators.
Any Indian entity with chinese capital or investment must be given 90 days to declare and offload the ownership to non-china entity.
Under the guise of IP they evade all revenue and take it back home. Glad ED acted.
Do the same against every single entity whose parent company is in china more

Why suddenly ED was let loose on Chinese Mobile companies - this was fallout of army face off at Tawang & Galwan(Pangong lake) & Arunachal areas...so a tit-for tat approach. Maybe Other Countries too will give them similar treatment and water down their war mongering ambitions. more

Excellent work by ED. However such incidents only show the highly corrupt attitude of Indians. How will this be corrected? This can happen only if the so-called Democracy definition is changed. more

On top of that, Indians should not buy Xiami MI Smart Water Purifier. So smart that stops providing safe water to drink and ofcourse Xiaomi that it will not repair replace or anything on basis of falsities. more
