Sure. Col. rajan Sir. I also hope that Modi ji will do an over all inspection and will perform a betterment of each and every section of the society so that we can understand that - Govt. is of the people, for the people and by the people. more
Raviji, Except some Generals who were favored by the UPA, I think most of the Veterans want BJP to come to power and we hope Mr. Modi's Goverment will take the time to understand the many woes of the Soldiers and resolve them. The Soldiers have been treated as beggars by the UPA, leaving us to the mercy of IAS walas who decide our fate on promotion, pay, benefits etc. The politicians think that some PVSMs, AVSMs, PVC or AC, SM etc is enough for the soldier. Soldiers are educated, efficient, effective, intelligent, result-oriented and disciplined who are capable of holding any higher office tenable by All India Service walas. Yet, denied the parity because of the IAS/IPS/IFS/IRS etc., lobby. This need to change. I agree that we need, may be Modi, to bring in the change. Let us hope for the best. Regards, COL. VBA. There are 10 candidates in the L S Constituency but Media shows only Uma Bharti name to confuse the voters with BJP party to have this done. Shameful Media. If BJP supporters have done this, show it openly or else, don't try to make it a double meaning NEWS. more
Dear Col Ajai, Again, another attempt by a top brass of UPA/Congress to fool the brave men of the country. I doubt whether the Congress lad knows what the full form of OROP, let alone what soldiery means. Instead of going and sleeping in a Dalit's hut to gain political advantage and publicity, the guy should have spent few days at the LOC with the Soldiers. We still carry out our duties for the nation without much complaint. It is unfortunate that there are many black sheeps in our own midst, wearing Red tabs who lick the no-good politicians for piddly favors. Sad, isn't it? Also, the veterans are scattered, mostly unorganised and not have a single national body which can effectively fight the Bureaucracy-Pollitician -dastardly- combine. Many of us are keeping fingers crossed that if BJP comes to power, they may look at our decades old woes. But if they too follow the UPA agenda of not giving the Soldiers & Veterans our rightful dues, god only can help. But we were fighters in uniform and should remain so even out of uniform, till we get our dues. All the best. VBAR On Friday, May 2, 2014 12:28 PM, Ajay Chaudhari wrote: more
