yes. I am also victim of Airtel Broadband. First I started 15 GB unlimitedplan. They used to send msg after 24 days that I exhusted my quota and need to upgrade to next level for high speed (2mbps) speed. I upgraded to 30 GB. Now also I get communication fter 3 weeks that my quota is exhusted and need to upgrde to next slab. Infact my usage pttern not changed. and in my house, am the only user of net. and most of the month I have been travelling. there seems to be a big racket with Airtel. I asked them to Tell me how to track my usage day by day directly from thenet. They say it is not possible and whatever figures given by them must be accepted by me. Always they report that my consumption they verified.

I had earlier reported about this problem of cheating by Airtel. This time, they have crossed the limit. In the period of July - August 2015, according to Airtel, we have utilized 10 GB data within 17 days!!!! Absolutely impossible. I mostly use my mobile data for Whatsapp and e-mails. At home, internet is used by my two children mainly for school work. Their usage may be in MBs and not in GBs. Airtel should be taken to court for such malpractice and cheap marketing. I suggest that we all should teach Airtel a lesson by closing their Broadband connection en masse and switching to other service providers. I heard that MTS dongle is working very fine and is very very cheap also as compared to Airtel. more

Yes this is happening with MTS also as after 24 days, the reminder comes your high speed quota exhausted and you can pay extra for high speed. Even after they slowed down the speed, even to stop net frequently. Then i shouted on the cheapness practice of company. There is a provision to see your usage on their web site for your account, so you can check. Now i am keeping a track. Further you can complain to TRAI and request them to surprise visit to their machine to verify usage as well speed. more

you can track your usage on airtel website through your login id.. even if your quota of 15 mbps speed is exhausted. internet is still accessible at a lower speed, no need to upgrade your plan. I have been using Airtel broadband since 7 years and I am aware of their upselling techniques, but they dont cheat - atleast in bangalore. more
