Yoga asanas

I've a problem in my shoulder for the last 10 years. I am 45 years Male with diabetic under control with tablets. The MRI scan of shoulder says: "Anterior labral tear with periosteal sleeve, flattening of posterolateral humeral head with undelying subchondral georde, Hyperintense signal intensity changes in supraspinatal tendon-s/o supraspinatus tendinitis, Anteroinferir sublabral recess." I used to feel pain and pressure in the shoulder some times when I work hard, lift weight, or raise arms during sleep.
Recently I have had a 15 days of physiotherapy, Accupuncture and naturopathy treatment for this as an in-patient. I don't know what is the effect of this treatment, which may have the impact after few months, I think. When do you feel we can realise the cure by again taking the scan?
Naturopathy and yoga doctors advised me not to practice surya namaskar and other asanas where the pressure comes to shoulder. I feel, most of the asanas give pressure to shoulder. In this case, what are the asanas, will I be able to practice? I am very fond of surya namaskar and other asanas. Please advise. more
