@Mr. Prabhash Mishra ji, The complaint can be filed to State Controller of Legal Metrology. However, the Controller of Legal Metrology cannot get refund of the price or tax so charged over and above the MRP. In case you want refund of the excess amount, the complaint could be submitted to the retailer seeking refund. In case you do not get the refund, you may submit the copy of the complaint as well as relevant documents to the State Controller of Legal Metrology. You also have a right to file complaint at this stage or subsequent before consumer forum wherein you can also seek compensation. While on above, if you are getting item as discounted sale say for example 50% discount, even the discounted price of 50% is also inclusive of taxes and is revised MRP. more
