The Attorney General has given opinion to Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao that Assembly should be convened within a week for floor test to decide whether O Panneerselvam or VK Sasikala have the majority.

The IT Dept and ED should conduct the raid on all MLAs and to find out and assess the value of their holding in all forms such as cash/Gold/property and the benami property with others name etc and suitable action should be initiated. The present law awarding punishment is insufficient and the law is to be tightened and strict and their stay inside the safe custody rather jail term must be at-least ten years and permanent debarring them to enter in politics and occupying the public office . That is the only solution to reduce the corruption. Secondly one is found guilty, the case should not kept pending in court and the decision and awarding punishment must be within six months. At present the culprits are make their loop holes with higher political influence and escaping from these crimes. That situation should not arise and should be punished immediately. No appeal or any other sort of request should not be entertain from them by giving a way to escape from the crimes. At present the cases are pending years together and the criminal are escaping either through death or in other false medical ground. The center should set up a separate court only to deal the corruption and related cases to settle the case on fast track. This is urgently need of the hour else the crime and corruption witll rise and will be out of control very soon. more
Actually, the Govt. should ban all those have black marks, seize the disproportionate property. Also take in to custody the judges who have given wrong verdicts. It appears that they have done it for a benefit. Law should be made equal for all. Why politicians are being covered by Police and other Govt. Institutions? The Govt. also takes advantage to suit their personal vested interests. more
Now Sasikala is out of the running, being convicted after 21 long years, it remains for OPS and whoever else is thrown up by the AIADMK to fight it out. Hopefully good sense will prevail and proxy rule of Sasikala come to nought. L.Kalavathi Retd. Bank Official Chennai, Tamilnadu, India 15/02/2017 more
SUPRECOURT WARNING TO POLITICAL LEADERS IN PUBLIC LIFE VERY CLEAR, BUT THE SAD PART IS MANY ESCAPE THE LAW FOR WHICH LEGAL SYSTEM ALSO RESPONSIBLE, AS THE DELAY IN PRONOUNCING VERDICT SO LONG FOR SOME SILLY REASONS DUE TO MANY LOOPHOLES FOR MANIPULATION. BOTH DRAVIDIAN PARTIES OF TAMIL NADU CULTIVATED THE ART OF" CORRUPT" IN TURN OF 5YEARS.REALLY A SHAME FOR TAMILNADU WHERE KINGS LIKE MANU RULED. more
