Good news is that per today's newspapers, Government is already considering our recommendations like requiring passport details for bigger loans, better vigilance and audit systems etc.

Kindly review the same, share with all in your social networks, administrators, PSU bank leaders in your network and any others who you think can help bring about these changes.

Once again, thanks for participating in polls and discussions and being an active citizen. more

It is true that Ministers have no time to go thru the mail and they depend on bureaucrats and every one is aware of bureaucracy system I pointed out about OTP which all most all banks included in chargeable SMS whereas due to chargeable SMS, low income customers, senior citizens like us, students, widow etc. are not opting for these services as all who fall in this category have limited income and this charge is painful too. In my opinion this OTP is one of the important reason which defeats the purpose of Govt. of India who advised to avoid cash payments and route all payments thru Bank ? Further for your information earlier I requested all related to banking activities that software updation is need of hour in present situation citing so many small well known examples. Till today neither I know what happened to my mail postings nor it is evident in practice which any one of you can verify yourself visiting Bank. gd_binani@yahoo.com more
System of banking ombudsman should also be made more friendly to the account holders instead of blindly accepting banks version. more
The diluted System proved that a separate Body of Vigilance and Execution is needed in every Zonal Office being controlled by LHO . more
As and when any complaint is made against a bank for its act of commission or omission, instead of giving a proper reply to the complainant seniors in the bank try to protect the staff working under them. There should be a proper mechanism in the banks to the effect that all complaints should invariably be investigated and a proper reply be given to the complainant. If required a fee may be asked to investigate the complaint. In case complaint is made with some ulterior motive the complainant should be dealt with accordingly. This way banks would have better accountability and efficiency and mischievous complainant would have to pay a price for that. more
Mr Satish Rai is right to state that the PSU Banks have been burdened with implementation of social schemes. But, for a common man who puts his hard earned money with them even a small mistake on the part of a bank is big. That shakes his confidence and more so when his grievance is not addressed properly. If any example is required to justify my points of views I may do so. more
Banks being more transparent and all other govt deptt inefficient and corrupt ,psu banks have been entrusted with all the work related to implementation of social work leaving behind their commercial status. Still all customer grievances are being looked after by them. In our country no one follows the system but wants others to follow. In such circumstances it is not advisable to load them further with such issues. Moreover there is system of lodging complaints in banks which is investigated. Suitable and prompt action is taken against all the complaints. Nowhere complaints are redressed as in banks. more
Audit system, KYC, Passport etc are already in place but to implement and to accept negative report is very important. Everyone even Govt. is interested to hear it's favorable report. Praising reports and self boosting attitude should be changed. No doubt Honesty is primary duty of every citizen of India. more
The Quarterly check of Conduct of Account AND yearly scrutiny of Annual Accounts in terms of Qty., Value NEED TO BE REINSTATED in addition to strict carry of lawful Term Loan / W.C. Loan Recovery System . more
Honesty in the people and the society as a whole is very much important. Adequate monitoring feedback and taking action is important. The tails in our names are to be removed for this to work more
