Your views on DHBVN
Dear Members of Residents of Faridabad, Have you suffered recently from DHBVN as far as two issues are concerned. First about defective/burnt meters and second with respect to billing. Some of the electricity consumers informed that the bills which were received from DHBVN were not uploaded before its due date of payment and those consumers ultimately had to pay with surcharge. I am looking forward to your opinion/ details on such incidents. Planning to take up such issues with Senior Management for a refund of the surcharge paid by such consumers. Complaint about meter burnt made promptly, but it took DHBVN 40 days to replace with a new meter despite repeated reminders. more

Sir, provide some more details on your issue. Whether any payment was demanded or asked for service cable etc. or not. What about the testing of meter post burning. I hope you would have read my article on this subject. The area where you stay. etc etc more

Dear Sir, We are also facing same issue from DHBVN. electricity bills are coming in thousands while we are four person in family including 2 small kids. in last bill I have noticed we got Rs. 1800/- subsidy while this month bill has no subsidy. units less but amount more. how can we resolve these issues. why DHBVN not giving us bill per month. Dear Sir, We have installed solar panels on the roof of 481, Sector 21-B. We are still receiving bills in thousands whereas it is the government that should be paying us because we are connected to the grid. The place I mention is vacant but for a caretaker so there cannot be so much consumption. Will you please take this up? Dr. Savita Datt. more

The electricity bills depend upon the sanctioned load, electricity consumed, MMC charges etc. Please see whether the units consumed are as per meter readings and there is no error in recording the meter reading. You may kindly provide any copy of the bill where you feel it is an inflated bill. I will revert back after the bill is studied. As far as Solar Panel is concerned, the rebate is provided on per unit basis, it is feeding to the main grid. So kindly provide the detailed bill so as to see whether it is correctly raised or not. more
